Jet Lag: (noun): a temporary disruption of the body’s normal biological rhythms after high-speed air travel through several time zones.
Have you ever traveled internationally? Apparently our bodies don’t really like it very much when you force them to stay awake for 30 hours, and then expect them to be fine with readjusting by the next day. Or at least mine didn’t. I think that the combination of sickness, sadness and sleep deprivation that came with my separation from Israel all combined in the perfect cocktail that has made my return home less than desirable. But not to worry, I’ve been back at work and catching up with friends and preparing myself for my junior year of college. Which starts in only a few weeks… EEK!
Till then though, I have several personal (and work related) projects that are keeping me very busy. The most pressing are the 3,000 pictures from the wedding I shot in June and the 3,000 pictures I took in Israel… I clearly am a little trigger happy. At the moment I’m waist deep in editing both of them, so I decided to share with you some of the bits and pieces:
