As you’ve probably noticed from previous posts, I’m in a Fashion Illustration class at school. The class has been different than I had originally expected, but I can definitely tell that I am now faster, somewhat better, and definitely more comfortable with drawing figures than I had been when I started the class.
I’m excited though because for the most recent assignment we got to draw figures with clothes on them! What?! So here they are, my first round of textured (and covered!) fashion illustrations:
I really cannot tell you how excited I am about clothed people…
In other recent news, remember how last week I mentioned that I had done 3 photoshoots in 24 hours? Well by the end of the week I had actually done 4 shoots! I did 2 shoot list shoots and the 2 senior portrait shoots. Ballin.
You’ve already seen the Prop Shoot and the Face Paint Shoot, but now I’ll give you a little sneak peek at the other two:
The first senior portrait shoot was with my beautiful little sister Lara. She did a great job and I can’t wait to show you the rest of them, but it’s gonna take me a minute to go through and edit the over 900 pictures we took… AHHH
For now though, here’s this:
The other session was with my long time friend Olivia. Not only is she gorgeous, but it was also really fun to just hang out and take pictures with her. Hopefully the rest of these will be up in the next week or two as well, but for now here’s this:
I know, they’re both beautiful. I’m telling you, photography really isn’t that hard when you just surround yourself with pretty people. It’s worked out well for me so far.
I hope you enjoy the rest of this lovely October day!
