At the end of this month, JoAnn and I are having our 3 year “anniversary”. It’s kinda crazy to think about. Three years ago, 16-year-old Anna was at a completely different place in her life, and yet somehow every time I go to work it’s almost like nothing has changed. I think a part of that store will always be stuck in the stone ages – yes, all the computers are still running on Windows 98, which is ironic considering that’s the average age of our customers….
I joke, but we all know I really love it. Not only do I now have enough crafting crap to start my own store, but working at JoAnn has helped me develop a skill that I like to call MacGyver Crafting. Which basically means crafting with whatever I can get my hands on.
In this case it was a pile of old t-shirts that became scarves.
But aren’t they so cute? And easy? And versatile? And warm? And perfect? Yes. Which is why I will be producing these in mass quantities as Christmas approaches.
Oh! And I was playing around with the different stitches on my machine so I decided to make a cute little headband.
Perfect for those (oh so often) college mornings when a shower just does not fit in the schedule. I’m gonna hope that other people can relate..
So I’m proud to say that even though it’s been a little while since I last blogged, at least I have been productive!
I hope you have a lovely day!
PS: thanks to my lovely model/mother. Isn’t she cute?
